On January 29th, Chinese Ambassador to Grenada H.E. Mme. Ou Boqian attended the ceremony for computers donation at Mamma Cannes Community Development Center in St. Andrew. Prime Minister of Grenada Dr. The Right Hon. Mr. Keith Mitchell and Minister of Implementation Hon. Mme. Emmalin Pierre were also present.
In her speech, Ambassador Ou said, this is an era of connectivity. With computers and internet, we can get information, learn and communicate with people around the world, so as to broaden our horizon and expand social life. I hope the 20 Lenovo computers, donated by China to the St. Andrew's Community Center, will help people in the community.
Prime Minister Mitchell and Minister Pierre both expressed their gratitude to the Chinese Government in their respective remarks.
