Notice on Airline Boarding Requirements for Certificates

(For non-Chinese citizens)

1.The Chinese Embassy in Grenada once again recommend travelers to avoid all nonessential travel due to soaring COVID-19 cases all over the world. The Embassy will no longer accept the application from passengers bound for China from Grenada via THREE or MORE TRANSIT COUNTRIES anymore.

2.In order to reduce cross-border transmission of Covid-19, starting from 5 March 2021, passengers from Grenada to China, before boarding the flight, will be required to apply for the Green Health Declaration Code with the "HDC" Mark from the Chinese Embassy in Grenada upon presentation of nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests (hereinafter referred to as "Tests") results.

3.The Tests must be taken at a registered medical institution in Grenada within 48 hours (from sample collected time) before boarding. The scanned copies of negative tests results, along with passport information page, itinerary must be uploaded to https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ to declare their health status.

4.The Chinese Embassy in Grenada will examine and verify the documents online, and then issue the Green Health Declaration Code with the "HDC" Mark to passengers. Passengers must present the Green Health Declaration Code with the "HDC" Mark within its validity period to the airlines flying to China before boarding.

5.Passengers take a flight to China via connecting flights must make sure they meet the boarding requirements of the transit airports, which may include but not limited to taking the Tests in the transit country within 48 hours (from sample collected time) before boarding and applying for the "HDC" Mark from the Chinese Embassy/Consulate in the transit country. Passengers are therefore advised to find out about the entry regulations and Tests requirements of the transit country before traveling. Failure to enter the transit country, or to meet the requirements on Tests or the "HDC" Mark, could result in heightened infection risk or being stranded.

6.All passengers from Grenada to China will be required to take Nucleic Acid and IgM anti-body blood tests. If you have been vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine, the vaccination certificate should also be uploaded, together with the Nucleic Acid Test and IgM anti-body blood results, to the website https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ . The Embassy will comprehensively review your application. Please refer to the specific review result for details.

7.Transit passengers bound for China via Grenada must take the Tests in Grenada and apply for the "HDC" Mark from the Chinese Embassy in Grenada as indicated in paragraphs 1 and 2 before heading on to China.

8.Passengers bound for China are advised to read the requirements carefully and follow them accordingly to avoid denied boarding or change of itinerary due to the failure in providing negative Tests results and obtain the "HDC" Mark.
