On December 22, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Grenada held a year-end gathering with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Grenada in Radisson Beach Resort. Both the Chinese Ambassador to Grenada, H.E. Wei Hongtian and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Grenada, Hon. Oliver Joseph, attended the event.

This year marks the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Ambassador Wei introduced the important document named “Resolution on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century” adopted at the recently concluded Sixth Plenum of the 19th CPC Central Committee. He said that the Chinese people have achieved the first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and are embarking on the new journey of realizing the second centenary goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects.

The two sides reviewed the achievements made through the bilateral cooperation in multiple areas such as public health, housing, agriculture, infrastructure development, sports and so on over the past one year and appreciated the hard work and devotion of the staff members who made all those happened. It is therefore the common aspiration and belief from the two countries that the bilateral relationship will continue to be enhanced.
